On 13 and 14 October 2005, the CCARS actively participated in the Physics Meeting on the issue “Electromagnetic Fields and Health”, held in the Complutense University of Madrid. This event was attended by Dr. M. Repacholi, head of the electromagnetic fields unit in the World Health Organisation (WHO), and Prof. R. Pethig of the University of Bangor and Prof. Q. Pankhurst, assistant director of the London Nanoscience Centre.
The latest WHO report on the effect of wireless station fields on health and the applications of electromagnetic fields in Biomedicine was discussed.
