The current perception of the hazards of electromagnetic fields requires a rapid and transparent response enabling citizens to adopt decisions supported by up-to-date scientific evidence. For this purpose, an entity capable of transmitting objective, independent information based on scientific methods is necessary. The CCARS seeks to perform these functions for Spanish society. With this objective, the Committee boasts the following portfolio of services:

  • Collaborate as a national benchmark with institutions, committees, universities, research centres and national and international organisations which are competent in this subject (European Union, WHO, EMF Project, IARC, etc.).
  • Attend training and information meetings (conventions, seminars, conferences, courses, etc.).
